My boyfriend pulled a wonderful surprise date on me.  I thought we were going on a picnic, which would already be a romantic date.  What I didn’t know was that he’d borrowed his friend’s powerboat on Lake Mead--even though his friend wouldn’t let him drive it away from the dock.  He went to the boat ahead of time (a long ride) and set out candles, flowers, a bottle of wine and some glasses, then left to pick me up.  I was so happy to see the “picnic” he’d arranged.  We ate, drank the wine, and cuddled, watching the other boaters on the water, then later admired the sun setting over the lake. Definitely a memorable day!

When my girlfriend asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I said that all I wanted in my stocking was her.  Well, she took me literally, and made a giant stocking of red velvet.  She drew my name in gold letters over the white felt on the top.  On Christmas Eve, she told me to come into the living room in five minutes.  When I did, I found her in the stocking, wearing a Santa hat, and I won’t say what else.  Needless to say, we had one memorable Christmas Eve.
